Iakov Nakhimovski

Iakov Nakhimovski has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Iakov is currently working at Modelon as a Principal Engineer, responsible for leading the Automation, Integration, and Deployment team. This team focuses on developing tools and infrastructure for automated workflows in Modelling & Simulation, including model regression testing, licensing and encryption tools, product packaging, and CI. Before their current role, Iakov worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Modelon, specializing in system simulations for high-profile customer projects across different industries. Iakov also provided technical support and played an architect role in Modelon's product development teams. Prior to joining Modelon, Iakov worked as a Research Engineer at SKF Sverige AB, where they focused on modeling and simulation. Iakov also has experience as a Software Engineer at \"Scientists for ecology\" Society and Objective Alliance-Europe, where they developed database applications using SQL, C++, Delphi, and worked with CORBA services. Prior to that, Iakov worked as a Software Developer at NITA.

Iakov Nakhimovski completed their PhD in Computer Science at Linköping University from 2000 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their Engineer degree in Systems for Computer Aided Design and Engineering from Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" from 1992 to 1998.
