Christine Hanefalk currently serves as a Political Advisor in the Finance Committee for Moderaterna since November 2023. Hanefalk has extensive experience in local governance, holding key positions in Upplands Väsby kommun, including Municipal Board member, Chair of the Municipal Assembly, and Chair of the Municipal Board. Previous roles include Vice Chair of Maritimt Forum and Director of Industry Affairs for Ports of Sweden. Additionally, Hanefalk has a background in political advising for Ulf Kristersson and other members of the Finance Committee and operated as a freelance translator and communications consultant. Hanefalk earned a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Biotechnology from Uppsala University, complemented by an exchange program at the University of Rochester.
