Ashley Peterson

Ashley Peterson is the Chief Operating Officer at Modern Animal. Ashley has over fifteen years of experience in various leadership roles in the fashion and entertainment industries.

Ashley started their career as an assistant buyer at Polo Ralph Lauren in 2005. Ashley then transitioned to Warner Bros. Studios in 2010, where they worked in creative advertising and worldwide marketing. In 2014, they joined sweetgreen as Vice President of Experience. Ashley was then recruited by Heyday in 2018 to serve as their Chief Operating Officer.

In May 2019, Ashley became Co-CEO of The Wing, a women-focused co-working space and social club. Ashley served in this role until January 2021, when they joined Modern Animal as COO.

Ashley is a strategic and innovative leader with a proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence. Ashley is passionate about building strong teams and creating exceptional customer experiences.

Ashley Peterson has a MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA from Harvard University. Ashley also attended Harvard-Westlake High School.

Ashley Peterson reports to Steven Eidelman, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Christie Long - Head of Veterinary Medicine, Shaw McKean - Head of Brand, Experience, and Insights, and Rosalie Wu - Head of Growth.
