Lex Howard

Lex Howard has a wealth of work experience, beginning with a role as a Private English Instructor in 2009. From 2010 to 2012, Lex worked as a Lift Operator at Mission Ridge Ski Resort and a Lifeguard at Suncadia Resort. In 2015, Lex worked as a Tutor at Eastern Washington University and an REU Undergraduate Intern at the SMU Lyle School of Engineering EE Department (Photonics Group). In 2016, Lex worked as a Consultant at Strat Aero International, followed by two roles at Keysight Technologies as a Process Development and NPI Engineer and a Compound Semiconductor Process Development Intern from 2017 to 2020. In 2021, Lex took on a role as a Process Engineer II at nLIGHT, and is currently working as a Materials and Process Engineer at Modern Electron.

Lex Howard has an extensive educational history. Lex began their studies in 2004 at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008. Lex then completed a foreign exchange at Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México in 2008. Lex continued their studies at Central Washington University from 2012 to 2013, focusing on Physics and Mathematics. From 2013 to 2016, they attended Eastern Washington University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physics with a minor in Mathematics. Finally, they earned a Master's Degree in Applied Physics - Semiconductors from the University of Oregon in 2017. In addition to their formal education, Lex Howard has obtained a number of certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Energy Economics and Policy in 2022, InfinityQS ProFicient Fundamentals in 2021, ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Training in 2021, and several Tableau certifications in 2021 and 2020. Lex also obtained a Duolingo Spanish Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated) certification in 2016, an Electricity & Magnetism certification in 2013, and certifications in The Science of Gastronomy, Climate Literacy: Navigating Climate Change Conversations, and Introduction to Sustainability in 2013.
