Jen Nelson

VP, Employee Experience at Modern Executive Solutions

Jen Nelson is Modern’s Vice President of Marketing & HR. She is responsible for leading the firm’s marketing and communications efforts including thought leadership development, brand strategy and management, digital marketing and media relations.

Jen brings a depth of experience in the marketing, communications and public relations functions having worked in the executive recruiting industry for over 15 years. Prior to Modern, Jen was Vice President, Marketing & Corporate Development at executive search firm, Ward Howell. She was responsible for leading Ward Howell USA’s marketing initiatives, while also managing partner recruiting and onboarding.

Previously, Jen was a senior member of the marketing team at Heidrick & Struggles. Her responsibilities at Heidrick covered all facets of the marketing and communications function, including developing and executing a strategic marketing plan for the Global CEO & Board Practice. Earlier in her career, Jen was marketing director at CT Partners and a member of the communications team for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games.

Jen holds a BS in business management with a concentration in marketing from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
