Andy Kemmer

Andy Kemmer is an Associate Attorney at Modern Family Law since July 2021, specializing in family law cases including custody, divorce, and adoption. Responsibilities include writing and responding to motions, representing clients throughout legal proceedings, advising on courses of action, negotiating settlement agreements, and conducting legal research. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant City Attorney at the Aurora City Attorney's Office, where extensive trial experience was gained through litigation of municipal ordinance violations. Earlier roles included working as a Law Intern at the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, a Law Clerk at the Michigan Poverty Law Program, and Legal Services of South Central Michigan, among others. Andy Kemmer holds a Juris Doctor degree from Michigan State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Criminal Justice from the University of Northern Colorado.
