Modern Times Beer
Nathalie Rosales has a diverse background in the hospitality industry, with experience in various roles including Merch Monger at Modern Times Beer since November 2017, Banquet Server and Food Expeditor at Coasterra from June 2015 to March 2020, Server at Harvest by the Patio from August 2016 to October 2018, and Hostess Server at Red Lobster from July 2012 to December 2015. In addition to professional experience, Nathalie Rosales pursued higher education at San Diego Mesa College, earning an Associate's degree in Computer Science between 2020 and 2022.
Modern Times Beer
Modern Times is a 30bbl production brewery in the Point Loma neighborhood of San Diego. Modern Times is named after a beautifully crazy utopian community founded in 1850, and (almost) all of our beers are named after real utopian experiments or mythological utopias. Today, we're distributed throughout Southern California, with a tasting room at the brewery as well as in San Diego’s North Park community. We brewed our first batch on May 18th, 2013; our beer went on tap for the first time on June 24th 2013; we held the soft opening for the Lomaland Fermentorium tasting room on August 9th, 2013; and our Grand Opening was September 7th, 2013.
