Issam Jawhary

Dr. Issam Jawhari studied at the University of Leipzig, Germany - PhD in Literature and Philosophy. He’s a Lebanese University Professor and had been the Lebanese University’s Dean of Education Department from 1994 till 2000. Dr. Jawhari is a Member of the founding committee of the Shakeeb Arslan International Library and President of the Lebanese University assembly of emeriti. He’s a Former member of the executive committee of the Lebanese Writer’s Guild and the President of the Forum for Progressive Intellect (1994-1996), he also Heads the educational & social affairs in the Movement for Cultural Discourse. He has been the General coordinator for the Gathering of the Civic Nation and President of the Soil of the Homeland committee.
