Talaat Lahham

Born in Lebanon on the 17th of June, 1949. Holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut – Lebanon. He held many senior position during his 42 years of experience and has worked in various industries during his life career. Mr. Lahham is currently the Chief Executive Officer at SIBLINE (Ciment de Sibline sal) in Lebanon which is one of the major producers of Clinker and Cement in the country. Prior SIBLINE, Mr. Lahham has worked in few companies specialized in the project management for the construction, start up and commissioning of 6 cement plants in the Middle East region.

He has as well worked for over 14 years in the telecommunication industry where he was the chairman and Chief executive officer of Cell C, one of the three cellular network operator in South Africa.
