Alex Albuja

Alex Albuja has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several roles and industries. In 1996, they began their career as an Operador de Valores at Value Casa de Valores. Alex then transitioned to Flodecol in 1998, where they served as the CEO for 15 years until 2013. Following that, Albuja joined Qualiplus Consulting as a Senior Consultant from 2013 to 2016. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at Hanaska Catering as the Director Financiero. Currently, Albuja is the CFO at Moderna Alimentos S.A, where they started in August 2022.

Alex Albuja has a diverse education history. Alex obtained an MBA in Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2002 and an MBA in Strategic Management from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2005. Alex also completed the Programa de Alta Gerencia - Desarrollo Gerencial at Universidad ORT Uruguay in 2008 and the Programa de Alta Gerencia - Habilidades Directivas at Aden Business School in 2006. In addition, they earned a Diploma in Finance from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso in 1999 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Finance and Business Administration from Universidad San Francisco de Quito in 1995. Prior to their higher education, Alex Albuja completed their Físico Matemático degree at Colegio Americano. Alex also holds several certifications, including Green Belt Six Sigma PLUS from Moura-Quali in 2014, THE GOAL International Workshop Certification (Theory Of Constraints) from Goldratt Consulting in 2012, Green Belt Lean Six Sigma from Moura-Quali in 2011, and Lead Assessor Balanced Scorecard from Capital Management Solutions in 2005.
