Franqui Jimenez

Franqui Jimenez currently serves as Vice President of Nucleic Acid Process Development and Distinguished Fellow in Technology Development at Moderna since April 2022. Previously, Franqui held various leadership roles at Sanofi from May 2011 to April 2022, including Business Partner for the Rare Disease Cluster and Head of Second Generation Process Development within Global MSAT. In this capacity, Franqui led the commercialization of integrated continuous biomanufacturing processes and established business processes for new product introductions. Prior experience includes roles at Amgen as Sr. Principal Engineer/Director and as a Process Engineer at Genzyme. Franqui earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
