Jacqueline Miller is the Senior Vice President and Therapeutic Area Head of Infectious Diseases at Moderna Therapeutics. Jacqueline has over twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in clinical research and development.

Jacqueline began their career in 1997 as a pediatric trainee at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Jacqueline then spent four years at Merck as an associate director before joining GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals in 2005. At GlaxoSmithKline, Jacqueline served as senior director for six years before being promoted to vice president and head of clinical R&D in 2012. Jacqueline oversaw a team of physicians and scientists responsible for developing and executing clinical plans for a portfolio of vaccines.

In 2020, Jacqueline left GlaxoSmithKline to join Moderna Therapeutics as Senior Vice President and Therapeutic Area Head of Infectious Diseases. In their current role, they are responsible for leading Moderna's efforts to develop therapeutics for infectious diseases.

Jacqueline Miller completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago, where they studied Biological Sciences. Jacqueline then attended Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine. After completing their medical degree, they did their residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Jacqueline is currently a practicing Pediatric Nephrologist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

They work with Rose Loughlin - VP, R&D Strategy, Andrew Natenshon - VP, Program Executive, Infectious Disease. Jacqueline Miller reports to Stephen Hoge, President.
