Magalie Emile-Backer

Magalie Emile-Backer, PharmD, CCRP, is a seasoned professional in the fields of pharmacovigilance and international development. Currently serving as the Director of Global Pharmacovigilance Sciences at Moderna, Magalie also holds the position of Founder and Vice President of Program Development at the Haiti Renewal Alliance, where engagement with the diaspora and international development are key focuses. In previous roles, Magalie has demonstrated leadership as the CEO and Principal Managing Partner at Diversified Research Associates and as a Manager in Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Technical Resource International. Magalie's expertise is further complemented by experience as a Global Medical Safety Expert at the Population Council, specializing in global health research.
