Robert Paris possesses extensive experience in the field of infectious diseases and translational medicine. Currently serving as the Vice President and Therapeutic Area Head for Latent Viruses and Translational Medicine at Moderna, Robert has previously held significant roles, including Head of Translational Medicine for Infectious Diseases and Senior Director of Early Clinical Development at GSK Vaccines US Research and Development Center. Additionally, Robert served as Director of the Military Malaria Research Program at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and Chief of the Department of Retrovirology at the Armed Forces Research Institute of Medical Sciences in Bangkok, Thailand. Academically, Robert Paris earned a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from The Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor's degree from Loyola University Chicago.
