Kristi Schaefers

Kristi Schaefers has extensive experience in clinical operations, holding various leadership positions at Moderna from April 2020 to January 2024, including Executive Director, Sr. Director, and Director of Clinical Operations. Prior to this, Kristi worked at Visterra Inc. in clinical operations from March 2018 to April 2020, and held multiple roles at Medpace between May 2010 and January 2018, culminating as Director of Clinical Operations. Kristi's earlier experience includes positions at Symbios Clinical, Inc. and the University of Minnesota, where roles ranged from Clinical Project Manager to Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician. Kristi obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Child Psychology, and Sociology: Law and Criminal Deviance from the University of Minnesota from January 2002 to January 2006.
