Wei Liu

Wei Liu is a highly experienced professional in the process development of small molecule drug substances and novel excipients. They worked as a Staff Scientist at Johnson Matthey, focusing on API production in both Non-GMP and GMP settings, and they held a similar position for process development. Currently, they serve as a Senior Scientist in Process Chemistry at Moderna, while previously acting as a Group Leader at Toronto Research Chemicals, where they managed a production lab and a team of chemists. Wei earned a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from The Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a PhD from the University of Waterloo.
