Director of Organic Marketing at Modernize

Robert Skorpil is the current Director of Organic Marketing at Modernize. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Marketing at Working Against Gravity from March 2018 to March 2019, during which time they were responsible for the leadership of all digital and offline marketing channels for the company. Robert also created strategic plans, KPIs, and budgets, and established accurate attribution tracking and reporting for each channel. Under their direction, changes were made to landing pages, content, and cart design that improved the conversion rate by 21%. In addition, they optimized social media and search ads to increase reach by 54%, clicks by 29%, and lead generation by 26.7%, while reducing the cost per lead by 7%. Overall revenue increased by 31.6%, sales increased by 8.2%, email leads increased by 84.6%, and organic website traffic increased by 81.7% from Q2 to Q4 in 2018.

Previously, Skorpil served as SEO Strategist at Farheap Solutions, Inc. from April 2016 to March 2018. Robert then served as Senior Director of Organic Marketing Product at Yodle from October 2015 to February 2016. Prior to that, they were the Director of Digital Marketing and Web Development at Grande Communications from November 2010 to June 2015. Skorpil began their career in 2009 as a Senior Manager in Technical Services at Bazaarvoice, where they worked until 2010.

Robert Skorpil has a Juris Doctor from USC Gould School of Law, a Master of Arts in Humanities/Aesthetic Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas, and a BA in Letters from University of Oklahoma. Robert also has certification from Google in Google Analytics (Basic and Advanced).
