Amr Assal has a diverse and extensive work experience in product management. Amr started their career in 1998 as the Founder, CEO, and Product Management Lead at Click To Market, where they focused on customer intelligence gathering. Amr then worked as the Managing Partner at KT Partners, providing strategic marketing consulting to various companies. Amr joined Phoenix Technologies Ltd as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for co-branded authentication and port control security products. Amr later founded ISQ Online, a company that focused on enhancing the online shopping experience through real-time interactions. Amr also worked as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at DigitalPersona and as a Senior Product Manager at PGP Corporation. At Symantec, they served as a Senior Product Manager, working on encryption products and managing critical customer situations. Recently, Amr Assal has been involved with IEEE as a Life Member. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Product Management at ModMed, where they are responsible for overseeing the product management function.

Amr Assal has an extensive education history. Amr began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications from Cairo University in 1977. Amr then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University, which they completed in 1979. Later, they attended UC Santa Barbara from 1980 to 1986, where they obtained a PhD in Linear Systems and Control. Finally, between 1990 and 1992, they pursued a Master of Science program in Computer Science/Expert Systems at Stanford University.
