Steven Hlavac

Steven Hlavac is an experienced community developer and gaming lead, currently working at Modoyo since April 2023 and at Anthos Capital since April 2021. Hlavac has previously held roles including venture capital funding intern at One Million by One Million, intern at the CU Boulder Center for Environmental Journalism, and radio editor and broadcaster at Radio 1190. Additional experience includes positions as a journalist for The Bold CU and the University of Colorado Arts & Sciences Magazine, as well as assistant manager at FedEx Office. Hlavac's background includes achievements in operational alignment, event organization, and stakeholder communication. Educationally, Hlavac holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Arts in Journalism Entrepreneurship from the same institution, along with a brief educational stint at Duke University.
