Walter Stern currently serves as President of Modrall Sperling Law Firm since January 2013 and has been a Shareholder at Modrall Sperling since 1982. In addition to these roles, Walter co-chairs the Indian Law Practice Group and chairs the Public Lands Practice Group. Prior experience includes a position as a Law Student Intern at the Regional Enforcement Office of the United States Environmental Protection Agency in Boston. Walter holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston College Law School, obtained between 1979 and 1982, and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of California at Berkeley, earned from 1974 to 1978.
