Scott Spray has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Scott started their career in the US Navy, serving as a Mineman and earning an honorable discharge in 1997. Following their military service, Scott worked as a sales manager at Prestige Truck acc, where they held the role from 1998 to 2000. Scott then transitioned to a sales position at Blue Water Spa from 1999 to 2001. Scott changed career paths again and became the owner of Ardent Construction, a state licensed builder, from 2001 to 2007. In 2007, they joined Modular Transportation as a driver until 2009. Scott took on various roles at National Wine & Spirits Michigan, starting as a driver from 2009 to 2012, and later becoming the Safety/Routing Manager from 2012 to 2013. Returning to Modular Transportation, Scott served as the Training Supervisor from 2013 to 2017, during which they built and implemented a comprehensive orientation and training program. Scott then rose to the role of Director of Safety, Compliance, and Training in 2017, where they managed safety and compliance initiatives for the company.

Scott Spray attended Lansing Community College for Truck Driving School in 2007, where they obtained a Class A CDL. Prior to that, they graduated from Hopkins High School in Michigan with a diploma in Graphic Design in 1993. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Certified Director of Safety (CDS), Certified Driver Trainer (CDT), and Certified Safety Supervisor (CSS) from the North American Transportation Management Institute in May 2019. Scott also holds a Class A CDL from the State of Michigan, obtained in December 2007, and a Builders license from the State of Michigan, obtained in May 2002.
