Rene Blanchette, PMP

Rene Blanchette, PMP has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. Rene began their career in 1990 as a Business Analyst - Programmer at IRCM. In 1992, they moved to SNC Technologies as a Software Engineer, managing various IT projects, ROI, managing budgets for externally sourced projects, analysis and programming. In 1997, they joined Baan as an Integration Specialist and Project Manager, managing customer on-site integration projects, configuring customer databases and ensuring smooth data migrations projects, and managing a team of 6 developers internally and on customer site. In 2000, they worked as a Team Leader at Mediagrif, supervising a team of 2 to 8 developers for the delivery and maintenance of Mediagrif operated websites, including the most important and strategic customer of the time, and taking the combined roles of project manager and business analyst for most of their projects. In 2004, they joined Oracle as a Sr. Technical Project Manager, managing the delivery of several simultaneous projects (often more than a dozen projects at a time) while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction, and managing Oracle-Taleo partners throughout their certification projects. In 2016, they moved to EC SOLUTIONS INC as a Project Manager. Rene currently works as a Project Manager at Modulus Data since 2021.

Rene Blanchette earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Software Engineering from Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al between 1985 and 1988. In 1998, they obtained the CPIM certification from the Association for Operations Management. In 2006, they obtained the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2016, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org.
