Matthew S. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matthew began their career in the US Navy as a Cryptologic Technician Technical from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office from 2005 to 2013.
Matthew then joined the Colorado National Guard as a Staff Sergeant, where they served from 2008 to 2014.
In 2013, they transitioned into the education sector, joining the University of Colorado as a Senior Applications Administrator. From 2015 to 2018, they took on the role of Assistant Director of System Administration Services, where they played a key role in defining and executing the university's IT strategy.
Matthew's next role was at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, where they served as Manager of IT Application Management from 2018 to 2019. Here, they led the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications.
From 2019 to 2023, Matthew worked at T4S Partners, Inc. as the ESM Practice Lead & Principal Consultant. In this role, they guided a consultant team, provided training and mentorship, and prepared strategic plans and financial reports.
Currently, Matthew is the Director of Digital Operations at Modus Create, a position they have held since 2023.
Matthew S. received a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Colorado State University Global, completing their studies from 2010 to 2013. Matthew has also obtained several certifications, including ITIL Foundation V3 in 2013, Cherwell Certified Engineer in 2019, and various certifications in project management and IT service management, such as ACP-610 and ACP-620 from Atlassian, ITIL v4 Foundation and Specialist from AXELOS Global Best Practice, and Ivanti Neurons for ITSM Consultant Certification and Administrator from Ivanti.
