Emily Shepherd

Emily Shepherd has worked in a variety of roles in the gaming and sports industries. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Front Office Assistant at Club Sport Valley Vista, where they monitored club entry and member accounts, utilized an electronic funds transfer system, and managed a wide range of visitor inquiries. Emily also answered a large volume of incoming calls, operated cash and credit card transactions, and provided excellent front office service to visitors and staff in a fast paced environment. From 2011 to 2013, they were the League Registrar for Division 4 Recreational and Rec Plus at Mustang Soccer League. In 2013, they began working at Maximum Games, where they held the roles of Director of People, Senior Manager of People, Executive Assistant, and Junior Producer. In this role, they assisted the Senior Producer in communicating effectively with development studios worldwide to produce quality console games, and experienced bringing a game through the first party approval process including all submissions, ESRB ratings, overseeing completion of assets, and ultimately successful game launch. In 2013, they also began working at Modus Games as Senior Manager of People & Culture. Modus is a division of Maximum Games focused on bringing AAA publishing services to independent developers around the world.

Emily Shepherd attended Diablo Valley College from 2007-2009, where they studied Pre-Business Administration. Emily then attended California State University, Chico from 2009-2011, where they earned a Bachelors in Business Administration and Human Resource Management.
