Thomas Bates

Thomas Bates has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Thomas began their career at JCPenney, where they held various roles such as Management Trainee, Merchandise Manager, and Department Sales Manager. Thomas then transitioned to Delphi, where they worked as a Manufacturing Supervisor, APS Kaizen Engineer, Site Kaizen Team Member, Operation General Supervisor, Senior Lean Supplier Development Engineer, and Corporate Business Process Change Agent. After their time at Delphi, Thomas joined Danaher Corporation and served as a Focus Factory Manager / Plant Manager, overseeing operations in both the US and India. Thomas later joined Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC as the Director of New Business Operations and then as the Director of Manufacturing Deployment. Thomas went on to work at Wencor Group as the Vice President of Distribution and Supply Chain before taking on the role of Vice President Operations at Medin Corporation. Most recently, they started working at DIRTT Environmental Solutions as the Vice President of US Operations. Throughout their career, Thomas has gained experience in areas such as operations management, project management, lean manufacturing, and supply chain management.

Thomas Bates has a BS degree in Management from Michigan State University. Thomas also attended Delphi Automotive as a Lean College Instructor and obtained a Six Sigma Greenbelt certification.
