Peter Jensen Maring is a seasoned museum curator and academic with extensive experience in digital heritage and archaeological IT. Currently serving as a Museum Curator and Head of Archaeological IT at Moesgaard Museum since March 2018, Peter previously held a similar position at the University of Aarhus from 2007 to 2021, focusing on the integration of digital methods in archaeological research. Peter's academic journey includes multiple roles as a lecturer at Harvard University and Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, as well as significant contributions as a programmer and archaeologist at various museums. Peter holds two PhDs in Digital Heritage from Aarhus University and the University of York, alongside degrees in Prehistoric Archaeology and Computer Science.
