Manish Gulati has a diverse work experience in the architecture and design field. Manish started their career as an intern at Schwarz + Schwarz in 1997, where they specialized in 3D modeling and worked on the design of the FIFA Headquarters in Zurich. After that, they worked as a Creative Head at Magnum Nexus Events & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd from 2000 to 2002. Manish then moved on to Hues Unlimited, where they served as a Principal Architect from 2002 to 2005. Following that, they joined Studio GSA as a Principal Architect from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, they co-founded MOFA Studio, where they held the positions of Principal Architect and Chief Executive Officer. Manish worked at MOFA Studio until November 2020. In addition, they also worked as a Visiting Faculty at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi from 2015 to 2019.
Manish Gulati attended CEPT University from 1993 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a specialization in Architecture. In addition, they also studied at ETH Zürich from 1997 to 1998, earning another Bachelor of Architecture degree. Prior to attending university, Manish attended Bluebells School in New Delhi from 1989 to 1992.

M:OFA as a company is a harmonious juxtaposition of a highly creative studio, a strong research cell and a practical construction project management wing. M:OFA positions itself as a comprehensive architectural design and urban design firm, where the focus is to remain at power with the contemporary global language of architecture, while simultaneously and spontaneously developing an indigenous design practice. The intention of providing economical and sustainable design solutions, whether it is for product design or a multi-acre urban development, is to think out-of-the-box, yet resolving every aspect of it is economical and sustainable element right from the drawing board, during production up to the functionality of the design. As a design practice, MOFA believes in creating efficient and optimized designs which follow the right balance between intuition and logic. Each project begins with understanding the brief in great depth. Sufficient data related to the project and the context is generated through an extensive research process. Star ting with the basic stamp size sketch based on intuition, we add multiple layers through physical modelling and parametric simulations. Every thought is tested extensively creating a right balance between the two simulators; computers that can run the numbers in milliseconds and the human minds that can generate a million ideas in a single second. As a responsible Architectural firm, we are deeply committed to making all of our projects Green and Sustainable. This resolve is seriously taken in minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency thereby reducing the overall carbon footprint.
