Rachel Baker

Rachel Baker is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as an Environmental Associate II at Moffatt & Nichol since May 2021. Prior to this role, Rachel completed an internship in Coastal/Environmental Planning and held the position of Vice President for the Graduate Student Association at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where leadership and coordination skills were honed. Rachel also worked as a Global Liaison for the UNCW Office of International Programs, focusing on promoting Education Abroad Programs. Additional experience includes a Stormwater Education/Outreach Internship with the City of Wilmington and research-oriented internships at The School for Field Studies. Rachel's educational background includes a Master of Science in Coastal and Ocean Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, supplemented by studies at the University of Wollongong.
