Rodrigo Peixoto

Rodrigo Peixoto is a Coastal Engineer with extensive experience in project management and technical activities related to water resources, particularly in river, coastal, and estuarine environments. Currently employed at Moffatt & Nichol since August 2022, Rodrigo previously worked at Vortex Mundus and founded HidroAmb - Engenharia de Recursos Hídricos e Ambiental, where responsibilities included technical and commercial project oversight. Prior experience includes research roles at COPPE/UFRJ, focusing on environmental modeling and the hydrodynamics of natural water bodies, and internships at INEA and the Instituto de Engenharia Nuclear, where Rodrigo contributed to engineering project documentation and environmental impact studies. Rodrigo holds a Doctor of Science and Master of Science in Coastal Engineering, as well as an Engineer's degree in Environmental Engineering, all from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
