Thomas Lornsen

Thomas Lornsen, Ph.D., has extensive experience in academia and localization, currently serving as a teacher in the English Department at Champlain College since August 2011, where responsibilities include teaching various English courses and co-coordinating the department. In addition to academic roles, Thomas works as a Localization QA Specialist for both MoGi Group and Terra Localizations, focusing on German language localization for video games and related materials. Thomas also marks the English Exit Exam for the Ministère de l'Éducation du Québec and has served as an IB Examiner for German. Previous teaching positions include roles at Vanier College, the University of New Brunswick, McGill University, and Bishop's University. Thomas holds a Ph.D. in German Studies from McGill University, along with two master's degrees in German Studies and German and English Literature.
