David Matthews

David Matthews has 15 years of experience in the industry. David began their career in 1991 as a PhD Student/Post Doc at the Institute of Child Health. In 1998, they became a Post Doctoral fellow at LMB Cambridge. In 2001, they were appointed Team Leader at MRCT. David then took on the role of Marketing Manager at AERES Biomedical Ltd in 2003. In 2005, they joined Medical Research Council (MRC) Technology as the Therapeutic Antibody Group Manager and Associate Director BioTherapeutics. In 2020, they were appointed Senior Director of Immunology and Ophthalmology at Mogrify.

David Matthews has a long history of education. David obtained a BSc in Genetics from the University of Glasgow between 1983 and 1987. David then went on to the University of London, where they earned a PhD in Immunology between 1991 and 1996. Finally, they completed an MBA in Business Management at The Open University from 2007 to 2010.
