Tim Rayner is a highly experienced bioinformatician currently serving as a Senior Bioinformatician at Mogrify since July 2021. Previously, Tim worked at Congenica as a Bioinformatic Analyst from September 2018 to June 2021, focusing on the design and evaluation of analytical tools for variant calling in various medical contexts. Tim's earlier roles include serving as a Senior Computational Biology Analyst at the University of Cambridge, where analysis strategies for hepatocellular carcinoma were coordinated, and as a Scientific Database Curator at EMBL-EBI, working on data standards and curation for the ArrayExpress database. Tim holds a Ph.D. in yeast molecular biology from the University of Dundee and a BA (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford.
