Survey Party Chief at Mohave County

Mark Fess has a diverse work experience in the surveying field. Mark started their career at Stantec Consulting Services Inc. in 1997 as an entry-level chainman and worked their way up to a party chief position. At Stantec, they gained experience in various surveying areas such as boundaries, level loops, ALTA surveys, residential and commercial projects, freeway construction, bridges, and topographic surveys. Mark worked with both GPS and conventional instruments. Mark then joined Horizon Surveys in 2007, where they primarily worked on heavy civil projects as a party chief and instrument person. In 2012, they joined Erickson Contract Surveying, Inc. as a survey party chief, focusing on pipeline projects including routing and final as-builts for compressor facilities and tank farms. Mark later became self-employed in 2015 as a mining claim surveyor. Most recently, Mark has been working as a survey party chief at Mohave County since April 2021. Mark'stechnical expertise and diverse background make him a valuable asset in the field of surveying.

Mark Fess attended Laguna Hills High School from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained their high school diploma with a focus on general studies. Following this, they enrolled at Saddleback College from 1989 to 1991. However, no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for their time at Saddleback College.
