Nicole Maiorana Kramer

Nicole Maiorana Kramer, CPA has over 24 years of work experience in various financial roles. Nicole began their career at Mohegan Sun in 1996, where they worked as a Financial Reporting Manager, Senior Accountant, and Accountant. Nicole later became the Director of Financial Accounting/Reporting and was responsible for accounting, payroll, treasury, and external reporting. During their time at Mohegan Sun, they also assisted in structuring a $1.0 billion financing arrangement.

In 2006, Nicole joined the Mohegan Tribe as a Corporate Governance Manager. In this role, they developed and supervised a compliance audit program and managed the annual resource plan. Nicole also worked on various consultative projects and implemented lean efficiency projects.

After leaving the Mohegan Tribe, Nicole worked at the Mohegan Holding Company as a Controller for start-up companies, including restaurant franchises and wood pellet manufacturing. Nicole handled accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

Nicole then worked as a Financial Controller at Ivory Ella, an online retailer. Nicole developed financial reporting packages, established industry-specific key performance indicators, and formulated an annual budget.

Nicole'ssubsequent role was as a Controller at Telaid Industries, Inc., where they oversaw accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial accounting, and treasury operations. Nicole also liaised with external accounting firms and managed liquidity through weekly cash flow reports.

Most recently, Nicole joined the Roman Catholic Diocese of Norwich as a Finance Advisor. In this role, they reviewed and analyzed financial investments, provided advice on payroll taxes and accounting treatment, and prepared draft policies for the organization.

Nicole Maiorana Kramer, CPA, completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Bryant University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Accounting from 1999 to 2001.

In addition to their educational achievements, Nicole obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of CT in February 2001.
