Andrew Bajardi

Chief Ranger & Director, Visitor Experience at Mohonk Preserve

Andrew Bajardi is the current Chief Ranger and Director of Visitor Experience at Mohonk Preserve. Andrew has also worked as a ropes course/initiative program facilitator for various schools and organizations from June 2004 to January 2021. In this role, they were responsible for facilitating programs with concentrations in high and low ropes courses. Prior to that, they worked as an Initiative Program Specialist and High and Low Ropes Technician for Dianova USA from January 2008 to December 2010. In this role, they specialized in running programing for various groups with the purpose of building self-confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Andrew has also worked as a jeweler for Ann Egan Designs from January 2008 to December 2009, where they were responsible for constructing jewelry based on the production designs of artist/jeweler Ann Egan. Additionally, they have worked as a Ropes Course Technician/Trainer/Building Assistant for Lord Stirling Outdoor Education Center from January 2008 to December 2008 and as a Ropes Course Specialist for Wilderness Way from January 2008 to December 2008. Most recently, they worked as a Sous Chef for Anns Kitchen from January 2020 to December 2020.

Andrew Bajardi has a Wilderness First Responder certification from Stonehearth Open Learning Opportunities, a Wildland Firefighter certification from the New York Wildfire and Incident Management Academy, an Environmental Education certification from the Community College of Vermont, and a Wildlife Ecology certification from the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). Andrew also has experience in mountaineering and rock climbing from Colorado Outward Bound and Pacific Crest Outward Bound, and has a Search and Rescue Technician certification from various agencies and schools.
