Kathy Ambrosini

Director of Education at Mohonk Preserve

Kathy Ambrosini is the Director of Education at Mohonk Preserve. Kathy has over 20 years of experience in environmental education, including ten years as an adjunct instructor at the State University of New York at New Paltz, where they developed and implemented graduate courses in Environmental and Outdoor Education. Kathy also worked as an environmental educator at Putnam and Northern Westchester BOCES for three years. In their current role, they oversee all educational programming at Mohonk Preserve, a 12,000-acre nature preserve in New York's Hudson Valley.

Kathy Ambrosini has a Master's Degree in Outdoor Teacher Education from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources/Wildlife Science from Cornell University. Kathy also has certification from the NYS Inclusive Recreation Resource Center and SUNY Cortland in Certified Inclusivity Assessor.
