Alexander Weber

Alexander Weber is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing innovative solutions across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at MOIA since October 2017, Alexander focuses on optimizing fleet operations for ride-pooling services through microservices and operations research techniques. Prior roles include software engineering positions at Tribe Property Technologies, where a property management application for Canadian residential managers was developed, and at Mesosphere, Inc., where contributions were made to a container management platform. Earlier experience includes backend infrastructure development at Odego GmbH, research assistance in genetic algorithms applied to modularization at the Institute for Product Development & Mechanical Engineering Design, and implementing ERP software modules at SOG Business-Software GmbH. Academic achievements include a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Hamburg University of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the same institution.
