Head of Machine Learning at Moises

Igor Gadelha, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the field of machine learning and development. Since 2020, they have been the Head of Machine Learning for Moises and a Machine Learning Researcher for CPqD. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Development Assistant for RNP, where they worked on the Video For Health project. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Visiting PHD Student for the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Scientific Researcher at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Sound Engineer at Mardito Records and an Assistant Developer at RNP. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Scientific Researcher at the Federal Univesity of Parahyba. Additionally, from 2008 to 2009, they were a Live Sound Engineer at Autonomous.

Igor Gadelha, Ph.D. began their educational journey in 2007 when they earned their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Instituto Federal da Paraíba. Igor then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Universidade Federal da Paraíba, which they completed in 2014. In 2015, they began their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, which they completed in 2019. Additionally, in 2017, Igor obtained a Certificate of English Proficiency from The TOEFL® test.
