Thomas Falkenström has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Thomas has worked as the Head of Brand at Mojang Studios since 2023 and previously served as the Brand Director from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director of Product Marketing at King, where they led the global Product Marketing and GTM strategy for Candy Crush Saga from 2019 to 2022. Thomas has also held board member positions at Bukowskis, Copter | Great Protection, and ISBIT GAMES. Falkenström has experience in growth strategy as the Head of Growth at Readly in 2019. In addition, they served as the Business Development Director at ISBIT GAMES and the Senior Brand Advisor at Marshall Amplification from 2015 to 2018. Thomas has also held positions at River, the agency and & Isbit Games, Zound Industries, and Nike, where they worked as the Brand Manager for Football and Action Sport and later as the Brand Manager for Northern Europe and Football.

Thomas Falkenström completed their Masters in International Marketing and Social Psychology from Uppsala University from 1996 to 2002. Thomas also pursued a course in Brand Management from Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson in 2023. Additionally, Thomas Falkenström undertook studies in International Marketing & Brand Marketing at Maastricht University in 2000 and studied English at Karlstad University from 1995 to 1996. Prior to higher education, they studied at Tingvalla gymnasiet.
