Brian Kienitz has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Brian is currently serving as the Vice President of Research at Mojave Energy Systems, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal Scientist - Electrochemical Engineering Lead at PARC, a Xerox Company. Before that, they held various roles at Great Wall Motor Co., Ltd., including Head of Membrane Electrode Assembly Design and Principal Engineer - Hydrogen Fuel Cells. Brian also served as the Stack Development Manager at ViZn Energy Systems and the Senior Research and Development Engineer. Brian began their career as a Senior Research Scientist at Xergy Inc. and worked as an Associate at W.L. Gore & Associates. Brian also worked as a Post Doc at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and a Graduate Research Assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Brian earned their graduate degree as a Graduate Student at Case Western Reserve University.
Brian Kienitz earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2002. Brian then went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University from 2002 to 2008.
