Nathaly Alarcón

Nathaly Alarcón has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and engineering. In 2011, they worked as a Process Architect at ProcessMaker, and later took on the roles of Senior Architect and Technical Lead. From 2013 to 2015, they served as Jefe de Sistemas at Servicios Interconectados Financieros SRL. In 2017, they worked as a Data Scientist at Global Insight Software. Nathaly then joined Akily in 2018 as a Data Scientist. In the same year, they also became a Professor at Escuela Militar de Ingeniería. In 2019, they started working as a Professor at Universidad Privada Boliviana - Fundación Educativa. Since 2016, they have been the Data Science Engineer Team Lead at Mojix.

Nathaly Alarcón obtained a Master's degree in Data Science from Universidad de Granada from 2015 to 2016. Nathaly specialized in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning during their studies. Prior to that, they attended Escuela Militar de Ingeniería, where they pursued a degree in Systems Engineering with a focus on Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Nathaly also holds multiple certifications. Nathaly completed the Gender Data 101 certification from DataDotOrg in May 2023. In June 2022, they participated in the Kickstart 2022 program offered by the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii). In July 2020, they received the Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf. Furthermore, they attended the Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning Summer School organized by CIFAR in August 2019. Nathaly also completed the Fundamentals of Data Science certification from Stanford University in August 2018. Nathaly participated in the PyTorch Scholarship Challenge offered by Udacity, completing it in November 2018.
