Brian Lemoff

Fellow, Head of Optics at Mojo Vision

Brian Lemoff has had a long and successful career in optics. Brian began their career in 1994 as an R&D Operating Manager at Agilent Technologies, where they led and managed the Optical Interconnects research group. In 2005, they became the Vice-President of Advanced Technologies at the High Technology Foundation, where they were responsible for managing all aspects of the Advanced Technologies Group and overseeing business development activities. In 2016, they joined Mojo Vision Inc. as the Fellow and Head of Optics, where they were responsible for designing all optics used in the augmented reality contact lens, managing the group responsible for all optics design, fabrication, and characterization, and advising company leadership and all departments on optics-related matters. Brian has also been credited with 20 granted US Patents for key inventions, including the projection and imaging optics and contact lens oxygenation structure that make the Mojo Lens possible.

Brian Lemoff received a BS and MS in Physics from Caltech between 1985 and 1989. Brian then went on to Stanford University, where they earned a PhD in Physics in 1994.
