In 1995, they became Gerente Comercial / Director Ejecutivo Compañía de Tarjetas de Crédito at Banco Privado de Inversiones. In 2000, they were appointed Director Ejecutivo y Miembro del Directorio at Nacion AFJP. In 2005, they were appointed Miembro del Comitée Directivo at American Assist Chile. In 2010, they were appointed Miembro del Directorio at Bodega Chakana. In 2011, they were appointed Miembro del Directorio at Romipack. In 2015, they were appointed Consejero Regional at Grupo Rotoplas. In 2018, they were appointed Miembro del Directorio at Seeds Energy Group S.A. In 2021, they became Co-Founder / Non Executive at Mokens League. Since 2003, they have been a Managing Partner at Fénix Partners.

Esteban Olivera obtained their MBA in Finanzas Corporativas y Entrepreneurship from NYU Stern School of Business between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, they obtained their Licenciado in Economía from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires' between 1990 and 1994.
