Reason Prashad Barua Sany

Reason Prashad Barua Sany is an experienced marine engineer with a strong background in shipboard engineering roles, currently serving as a 1st Assistant Engineer at MOL Chemical Tankers since February 2019. Prior positions include 2nd Assistant Engineer, 3rd Assistant Engineer, and Junior 3rd Assistant Engineer at the same company, starting from October 2010 in the role of Engine Cadet. Reason possesses a Bachelor of Marine Engineering from the University of Tasmania and holds MEO Class 2 (Motor) qualifications from the Australian Maritime Safety Authority, along with a Pre-Sea Marine Engineering degree from the International Maritime Academy Bangladesh. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, overhauling main engines and various machinery, and conducting pre-delivery examinations at dry-docks and shipyards.
