Senior Advisor To GCEO at MOL Group

Zsolt Huff has a diverse work experience in the energy sector, primarily with MOL Group and its subsidiaries. Zsolt started their career as a Project Manager at MOL in 2001 and later took on roles as a Motorfuel Production Area Manager and Operation Manager. In 2008, they became an M&A advisor and then took on the role of Operation Manager at IES - ITALIANA ENERGIA E SERVIZI S.p.A., a subsidiary of MOL Group. Zsolt later became the Operation Manager & Deputy Refinery Director, where they managed refinery operations and led strategic changes for operational excellence.

In 2010, Zsolt joined MOL Group as the Head of SCM Planning and Optimization, followed by a role as an Advisor. Zsolt then moved to MOL Magyarország as the Head of Economics and Programming in 2013. In 2014, they became the Production Director and later the CEO at MOL Petrochemicals Co. Ltd., a member of MOL Group.

In 2017, Zsolt became the Senior Vice President of MOL Hungary Downstream at MOL Magyarország, and in 2019, they advanced to the role of Senior Vice President Downstream Production at MOL Group. Throughout their career, Zsolt has demonstrated expertise in refining operations, supply chain management, economics, and programming.

Zsolt Huff earned their Msc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Veszprem between 1988 and 1993. Zsolt later obtained a BSc in Business from the International Business School from 2000 to 2002. In 2008 to 2009, they attended the IEDC - Bled School of Management to study economics, business, and management, although they did not complete a specific degree.
