Kelly Madigan has a diverse work experience in the field of archaeology and planning. Kelly started their career as a Casework Assistant at Lewisham Council in 2006 and later worked as an Archaeological Technician at Pre-Construct Archaeology Limited. In 2009, Kelly joined L - P : Archaeology, where they held various roles such as Desk Based Archaeologist, Archaeologist | Partner, and eventually became a Partner (Equity) in the company. During their time at L - P : Archaeology, Kelly focused on business development, networking, strategic planning, and project management. In 2022, after the acquisition of L - P : Archaeology by MOLA, Kelly became the Head of MOLA Bristol. In this role, they are responsible for the daily operations of the branch and works towards growing the business commercially and in research and engagement within the South West of England and South Wales regions. Kelly also plays a role in driving growth, identifying opportunities, and delivering on MOLA's sustainability plan.
Kelly Madigan holds an MA degree in Classical Art & Archaeology from Royal Holloway, University of London, which they obtained from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a BA degree in Ancient History and Archaeology from the University of Exeter, from 2001 to 2004. Furthermore, they have obtained a certification in Business Sustainability Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) in July 2022.
