Molecular Designs
Shamik Das is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Molecular Designs since February 2022. Prior to this, they have had extensive experience in research and academia, holding titles such as Researcher V at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Mitchell Cancer Institute. Their background includes a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular and Cellular Genetics from Bose Institute in Calcutta. Previous roles also include teaching as the HOD of Biotechnology at Birla High School for Boys. Throughout their career, Shamik has demonstrated expertise in planning and executing research work, writing manuscripts and reviews, as well as guiding graduate students and Ph.D. candidates.
