Giusy Tornillo

Giusy Tornillo has extensive work experience in the field of research and scientific editing. Giusy is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Molecular Devices since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Bio-protocol as an Associate Editor for Stem Cells & Cancer from 2015 to 2023. Giusy also has experience as a Research Associate at Cardiff University from 2013 to 2023 and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Molecular Biotechnology Center at Turin University in 2012.

Giusy Tornillo has an extensive education history in the field of biomedical sciences and human oncology. From 2008 to 2012, they attended the University of Turin and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, with a focus on functional genomics applied to translational research. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, they pursued a Master of Science (Research) degree at the University of Naples 'Federico II' in medical biotechnology. Their undergraduate studies also took place at the University of Naples 'Federico II', where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from 2002 to 2005, specializing in biotechnology and molecular medicine.
