Iztok Marjanović

Iztok Marjanović has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Iztok began their career at General Electric in 1986 as a Senior Software Engineer and stayed with the company until 1995. Iztok then joined Applied Materials as a Software Engineer IV from 1994 to 1995. Following that, they worked at KLA-Tencor as a Lead Software Engineer from 1995 to 1999. Iztok then joined Ten Square as a Senior Member Technical Staff from 1999 to 2001. After that, they worked at Ciphergen Biosystems as a Lead Software Engineer from 2001 to 2006. Iztok then joined Bio-Rad Laboratories as a Software Engineer from 2006 to 2009. Iztok further expanded their expertise at Life Technologies as a Staff Engineer, Software from 2010 to 2012. Iztok then joined Molecular Devices as a Software Developer in 2012. Currently, they are employed at Pacific Biosciences since at least 2017, initially as a Staff Engineer, Instrument Software and currently as a Senior Staff Engineer, Instrument Software.

Iztok Marjanović has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. They also hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physics from Willamette University. In addition, they have two Master of Science (MS) degrees, one in Software Engineering and the other in Electrical Engineering, both from San Jose State University.
