Mariko Nakano

Mariko Nakano is a Research & Development Principal Investigator at Molecular Testing Labs. Mariko has also worked as an ORISE FDA fellow and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Washington.

Nakano’s research focuses on mechanistic static and population-based pharmacokinetic models for prediction of CYP2D6 drug-drug interaction in EM, IM and PM populations. Mariko is also experienced in biochemistry, molecular biology, chromatography, and mass spectrometry.

Nakano has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and has given talks at various conferences. Mariko is also experienced in mentoring and collaborating with other scientists.

Mariko Nakano has a Ph.D in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Washington, a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Washington, and an AA from South Seattle College.
